The USAID funded JSSP supported the development of democratic freedoms that provide justice, peace, and stability. JSSP increased the capacity of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC), improved court administration and case management, and assisted integration of courts in the North into the Kosovo Justice System.One of its significant accomplishments was the empowerment of women in leadership positions in the judiciary.
