Cristina Malai Tuturica Joins Millennium Partners

Millennium Partners is very pleased to announce that Cristina Malai Turturica has joined the Millennium team as Vice President for Technical Direction and Business Development. Cristina brings over 25 years of experience advising on and managing donor-funded legal reform projects in Moldova, Kosovo, and Ukraine. In the last decade, she led highly complex multi-million rule of law and anticorruption projects centered on the development of IT systems to build judicial institutional capacity, reduce corruption, and increase access to justice.

From 2017-2020, she served as the Chief of Party for USAID’s Open Justice Project in Moldova which was implemented by Millennium’s majority-owned affiliate Millennium DPI Partners. In this capacity, she oversaw the development and installation of an integrated automated case management system (ICMS) in all the courts, which placed Moldova as the regional leader in the use of IT systems to make courts more efficient, transparent, and citizen-centered. Currently, she serves as Millennium’s technical advisor for court automation in USAID-funded projects in Egypt and Ethiopia and helps manage and advise on the DRL Access to Justice Project in Moldova and the USAID E-Governance Activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I am excited about the opportunity to provide strategic guidance, project management and operational support to Millennium Partners’ current and future projects,” said Cristina. “I look forward to contributing my expertise to enrich the quality, impact and sustainability of Millennium Partners’ projects around the world, for the benefit of projects’ stakeholders and in line with donors’ highest expectations of excellence.”

With her strong leadership and technical skills, Cristina will provide program management and technical direction for Millennium Partners’ overseas projects and assist the home office in business development and communications, and outreach.
