The U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) awarded Millennium a grant to develop and implement public awareness campaigns regarding fundamental rights and freedoms and to strengthen the provision of legal aid to persons whose rights have been violated. Under this new extension, ATJ will continue to build the capacity of legal NGOs throughout Moldova to more effectively target vulnerable populations, especially women and children. ATJ is also focusing on expanding mediation as low cost and accessible means to justice.
